Moreover, as you watch content on edropin, you get credit for every single minute of learning. We built this whole new technology from ground-up called #MicroCredits. In layman terms, it's an innovative way for us to bundle your watch time across courses. For example, if you watched 30 minutes of one video and then you jumped to another videos and watched that for 30 minutes, you would earn .5 credit for each video in edropin. When you go to export your CE, we bundle those two credits so you can submit 1 CE.

This means, you can watch whatever you like and however long you like, knowing that your time is valued at edropin and that you are earning credits for everything.

Why is edropin invite-only?

What we are building is something new both in concept and in technology. As such we are learning a lot from our early testers and pioneers. Moreover, as edropin is not just a learning platform but a community of peers, we feel that an invite-only system allows us to build real connections between our members who are all dentists, dental specialists and dental students. Ultimately, we see edropin as a networking and mentorship platform as much as an education tool.

How can this be FREE?

You are right, we obviously have to pay for servers, etc. So if you plan to export CE certificates for licensing in US or Canada, then we do charge a small fee. Our cost-per-ce is so far below what anyone will charge so we believe this is in line with our mission of making dental education affordable.

This means that you can watch a thousand hours of content on edropin and not pay a penny and if you need let's say 15 CE for your licensure in US/Canada, you can export them for a small reasonable fee.
