  • Educate and dentally prepare patients who are going to be treated with high-dose anti-resorptive therapy
  • Educate and dentally prepare patients who are going to be undergoing high-dose chemotherapy (autologous and allogenic transplants)
  • Understand how to safely treat patients with hematologic malignancies and when not to treat

Deputy Chief of the Department of Dental Oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, where my practice is limited to the treatment of cancer patients.

Director of the Fellowship program in Dental Oncology. My educational background includes a DMD from McGill University (Gold Medal) and Master’s in Health Administration from the IHPME at University of Toronto. I am a published author on the topic of dental care for patients with acute leukemia and head and neck cancer and I continue to provide continuing education lectures on the topic of dental care for cancer patients, both to dental study clubs and on behalf of the University of Toronto, where I hold an appointment as an Instructor in Dentistry.
