This presentation focuses on implant treatment and patient management strategies in dealing with common challenges in single tooth restoration.

Important prosthodontic concepts at different stages of implant treatment will be reviewed and discussed.

About Dr. Leung Dr. Beatrice Leung received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. After graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Boston Medical Center and a three-year Prosthodontics Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh. During her residency program in Pittsburgh, she also earned a Master of Public Health degree. Following completion of these programs, she became certified as a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as well as the diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Since then, she has been in private practice in the midtown Toronto for last 15 years. Beatrice has a long history of involvement in the prosthodontic education at the University of Toronto and recently joined the Faculty as an Assistant Professor with a major role in directing undergraduate prosthodontic education. She has recently been named an Honourary Class Member from the class of 2021 and a recipient of the 2019-2020 Dr. Bruce Hord Master Teacher Award.
