COURSE SUMMARY The use of zirconia has risen dramatically in recent years because of its combined durability, aesthetics, and its ability to be merely cemented in place instead of bonded. In this 1-hour webinar, Dr. Griffin will discuss how regenerative/bioactive cement not only offers exceptional clinical performance with zirconia, but also the potential to stimulate hydroxyapatite formation and a reduction in tooth sensitivity. Tips and tricks when cementing implant crowns as well as routine zirconia/metallic crown and bridge will also be highlighted.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Recognize the difference between bioactive and regenerative and why it’s important in dentistry
  2. Learn zirconia preparation, uses, and how to maximize clinical performance
  3. Become familiar with cementation versus resin bonding luting agents
